Full Text China Customs foreign trade data reveals moderate growth in primary silicone raw material exports in H1 2026, while the export value of high value-added finished silicone products grew by 11.7% year-on-year. Fueled by global plastic restriction policies and changing consumer preferences, reusable silicone kitchen supplies, silicone baby goods, silicone pet bowls and silicone beauty tools received abundant orders. Demand in North America and Europe grew by more than 28%.
Volatile organosilicon raw material prices and adjustments of export tax rebate policies push many manufacturers to exit low-end price competition and focus on customized silicone products certified with FDA and REACH. Overseas buyers prefer direct manufacturers with independent mold development and one-stop quality control. Flexible multi-item production and fast sampling have become key supplier selection benchmarks.
